Mr. Eric J. Doyal is an Associate of Rock Hill Capital (RHC), a Houston-based private investment firm, where he assists in investment opportunity evaluation and portfolio management. RHC partners with 1st and 2nd generation owner-operators to invest in lower middle-market industrial service companies along the Gulf Coast and Texas.
Prior to joining RHC, Mr. Doyal served as a Director at Capital Point Partners (CPP), a Houston-based mezzanine debt and minority equity investment firm investing $5 – $20 million in lower middle market companies across the United States. As Director, he was responsible for due diligence and analysis of potential portfolio investments and ongoing oversight and analysis of existing companies. Mr. Doyal served as a Director of two portfolio companies and invested capital in the healthcare, value-added distribution, industrial services and retail industries, among others. Prior to CPP, Mr. Doyal worked as an Analyst in the credit training program of BOK Financial, a publicly traded bank holding company.
Mr. Doyal received a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University (TAMU) and a M.B.A from Rice University’s Jones School of Business. Mr. Doyal is a Founder and past Co-President of Young Professionals in Finance – Houston and a past Director of the Houston Private Equity Association. He is the past National Finance Chairman of Maverick PAC and current Vice President of the Greek Former Student Board at TAMU. In 2011, Mr. Doyal was appointed to the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Commission by Governor Rick Perry.
